Take a trip on 'Anglers
Lodge' around the many islands that comprise the Motukawao Group.
Experience aquaculture with a visit to the mussel farms. Sight some of
the many sea birds in the area with a visit to the gannet colonies or
perhaps a penguin or three. Dolphins are also regular inhabitants of
the area as are whales and orca, however these tend to be seasonal.
Boat Launching
Service
Anglers Lodge offers its guests a boat launching
service. Just a minute tow by our tractor to the nearby launching ramp
and we will have your boat launched without you having to even get your
feet wet!
Keep in touch with us through VHF coast radio. We can keep you up to
date with the local weather and fishing conditions and arrange to meet
you at the ramp with your trailer to pull your boat out again after
your days adventure.
We have boat and fish cleaning facilities here on site.
